Centrifuges are systems necessary for drying swarf and recovering the coolant.
The shredded swarf is discharged into the centrifuge through a special hopper and undergoes acceleration in the centrifuge drum. Thanks to the centrifugal force generated, oil is separated from the swarf through a wide perforated grid and discharged outside.
The deoiled swarf is driven by rotation over the edge of the drum and then falls, through the appropriate discharge, into the extractor below.
For inspection or maintenance purposes, an electro-magnetic safety device allows the opening of the top lid of the stationary drum and prevents the centrifuge from working while the lid remains open.
The machines run vertically and the dry swarf is discharged at the bottom, with a built-in drum and a manganese steel outer coating for greater resistance to wear.
All components subject to wear are protected by the same coating and are easily replaceable. If continuous functioning is not required, an electrical timing system can be set up for a scheduled operation, for the purpose of energy saving.
For greater durability with less maintenance, the centrifuge is equipped with a sleeve which connects to a scavenger pump housed in a recovery tank to perform periodic flushing that reduces the accumulation of sludge in the fluid discharge channel and therefore prevents obstruction.
ADVANTAGES
Fully automatic, continuous operation, used for de-oiling small chips made of brass, steel and aluminium. The compact dimensions of the low-flow models make them suitable for installation in the machine.
Composed of a driving unit capable of operating at continuous power while maintaining a high degree of efficiency and reliability and minimizing the level of vibration.
CENTRIFUGES SERIES 'GHS-E':
Fully automatic, continuous operation, used for de-oiling chips made of steel, aluminium, brass and cast iron derived from the crushing process. They are equipped with a large filter that allows high levels of de-oiling and oversized bearings for high performance even at maximum speed. Matched with low centre of gravity for maximum stability even with heavy weight loads.
